Namaste! I’m the Founder + Creator of BiblioYoga, a yoga & creative writing workshop practice formerly based in Denver and now in Colorado Springs!
I was raised in Houston, Texas. I am a RYT 200hr from Yogaleena Yoga Studio in Houston with a literary studies, creative writing, and philosophy background. Over the last decade, I’ve spent my career teaching a variety of academic subjects, as well as movement. I earned my BA in English, BA in Philosophy, and Dance degrees at Southwestern University in 2007. I continued my education and graduated from Texas State University with my MA in Literature (2009) & MA in Applied Philosophy and Ethics in 2011. After leaving academia proper, I continued to take creative writing courses via AllWriters Workplace & Workshop (on-line), MasterClass (on-line), Lighthouse Writers Workshop (Denver), InPrint (Houston), and Writespace (Houston).

I am published both as an academic and a creative writer, as well as a pop culture journalist. My background as a student of the humanities, particularly literature & philosophy, informs my approach to yoga as a tool for both mental and physical play. My yoga practice fuels my creative energy; I can’t think of anything I enjoy more than teaching others various processes related to the practice of movement and artistic expression.
I share tools and rituals to guide others to connect more deeply with themselves and Spirit. Personally, I resonate most with astrology and human design, as well as tarot practices. I’m a cancer sun, virgo moon, and saggitarius rising. My human design is Manifesting Generator with a 2/4 profile.
I love to dance, read, write, garden, cook, travel, yoga, hike, camp, tarot, cosplay, SUP, study human design, make friends with animals and attend concerts and stand-up comedy shows.
